Everybody loves characters who have supernatural powers. If the powers are used for the goodness of humanity we all love them. Among the many superheroes that I have seen in movies and books, my favorite is Spiderman. There are quite a lot of reasons for this selection. The prime factor is that this character was a normal human being before attaining the supernatural powers. A spider bite changed the life of this person. Even though it is an imaginary story, this is something:

that	excited
me.

 
There are many other reasons for my selection. The way this character saves different people who are in need is very interesting. Spiders use the web. The Spiderman uses the same web to climb to great heights which is impossible for normal humans. He calls this as web-shooting and uses it to attack his enemies. When evil powers come to attack the world, this helps him a lot. I have read comics starring this superhero and have seen different movies too. All these stories excited me to a great extend especially due to the great:

• skills
• displayed
• by him. 

The story starts with the protagonist who is raised by his Aunt. He later faces all the difficulties that are normally faced by a young man. He had no parents and hence was a bit gloomy. He was however a true lover of mankind and hence had the mentality to help the people who are in need. One of the most important things about Spiderman is that he has a secret identity which he hides from the world. During the daytime he is a normal person who has every characteristics of a person we meet in our everyday life. We can easily relate to him. He goes through all the phases that we go through in our lives. He is insecure at times, and might be lonely during some occasions.

All these are faced by us too and hence we feel he is one among us. When such a person does amazing things to save the people using superhuman qualities we feel proud and happy. The way the character is built by the author really boosts the confidence of the people reading or watching the story. When the movies about Spiderman were released all over the globe people enjoyed watching the skills onscreen. The way he jumped from one building to another and the way in which he fight the destroyers of the world were loved by everyone.

No other superhero is my favorite!
